A tanker hauling gas from a New Jersey refinery hit a semi truck, critically injuring a New York woman, police said.
The Hudson River tanker struck the semi truck near the town of Union City in the city’s east on Friday afternoon, police told The Associated Press.
It was headed to a gas station at the town’s south shore, where it would pick up gas for the local gas station, according to authorities.
A woman in her 20s was rushed to a hospital with serious injuries, said Hudson County Prosecutor James Clark.
Her condition was not immediately known.
